Daryl was the winner of my giveaway here on the blog, and when I contacted her to schedule a date for the shoot she told me they had just found out they would be moving from Frankfurt to America within a few weeks. We tried to figure out how we could get together as soon as possible and somehow we magically found a time that worked with both of our schedules. She and her husband drove to Berlin spent a wonderful afternoon with me here in Berlin. They are the sweetest couple and we had a lot of fun chatting and realizing how much we have in common- both of us being California girls in love with Germans, and she also loves photography. Make sure to check out her blog, which is filled which gorgeous photos from all of their travels around Europe. They wanted a very “Berlin” style shoot with the sights recognizable in the images, and while the weather was not exactly what I would call nice… (it was cold, windy and rainy), I love their “Berlin for a day” shoot and had a great time photographing them! A big thank you to Daryl and Steven for making the trip to Berlin for the shoot!
Also, in case you missed it, Clara and Albert’s shoot from the Lover’s guide to Berlin was featured on Lieschen heiratet last week. In addition the story was featured in the newest issue of sisterMAG, check it out in English and German!
