A few days after Dominik and Franzi’s city hall wedding in Berlin, Andreas and I traveled to Bavaria to photograph their church wedding in their hometown. Not only are they just the sweetest (and gorgeous!) couple, their family and friends were equally welcoming and it was crystal clear that these two are just a perfect match. It was such a lovely celebration, with so many beautiful handcrafted details, and was definitely a labor of love with their family and friends coming together to help make the day amazing. The church they married in is the same church both Franzi’s parents and grandparents tied the knot in, and her mother made the gorgeous peony arch. The reception was held in the garden of Franzi’s family’s hotel, and an empty barn they transformed into a stunning reception venue. All the DIY details looked incredible and I was shocked they had done it all on their own. The groom, Dominik, made the most incredible photobooth, in a reclaimed wood stand. Looking back through these photos, I cannot stop smiling and obviously had a really hard time editing down my favorites :) Thank you again, dear Franzi and Dominik, for asking us to document both of your weddings, it was truly an honor to be there. I am thrilled that Franzi & Dominik’s wedding was published on Style Me Pretty, check out the post here.
