Erin + Paul | Engaged in Berlin | Heartbeats Session
I was thrilled when Erin, another California girl living in Berlin, told me that she and her fiancé, Paul, would be game to shoot their engagement photos in the snow. As I grew up on central coast of California- aka the land without winter, snow makes me giddy and oh so very happy. Shooting in the snow makes my heart swell- especially shooting a couple in love, in the snow.
We were so lucky to have slightly warmer temperatures and even had a few minutes of sunshine peak through the clouds during our afternoon together. We started out on the Insel der Jugend in Treptower Park, one of my favorite spots in Berlin and more importantly, where Paul had proposed to Erin back in the fall. Afterwards we headed to Mitte where we made the most of the few minutes of sunshine and they even braved the cold for a few photos without their coats :) Congrats again to Erin and Paul and thanks for wonderful afternoon!
