When Bettina of Beautiful Occasions, and Hürriyet of Botanic Art, approached Saleema and I at the Love Circus Bash and asked if we were interested in working with them on a Gatsby styled wedding shoot at the Schlosshotel im Grunewald, my answer was immediately YES!! It was so much fun to take the concept of a modern spin on Great Gatsby style and see it all come together with so many fabulous Berlin Wedding vendors taking part. Our amazing couple were absolutely perfect and so much fun to photograph, of course it doesn’t hurt that they are both so damn good looking! :) In addition, the hotel is so beautiful and the window light streaming in through all the windows was a dream to photograph in. I hope you enjoy the images!
A big thank you to Patricia at Hochzeitswahn for featuring our Gatsby wedding on her fantastic blog, check out the post here.
And thank you to Amy at Fly Away Bride for the lovely post featuring the shoot! Check it out here.
And all of the amazing Berlin Wedding vendors who helped make this shoot possible.

I am so excited to share the images from a styled shoot I photographed last month at Soho House Berlin in their Politbüro and Torstrasse rooms. We had such a fabulous group of Berlin wedding vendors working on the shoot, and my jaw literally dropped when I walked into the room that morning. The ladies from Love Circus are so incredibly talented and their vision for a chic, modern, Berlin wedding was brilliantly executed. As so many Berliners leave the city to get married in the beautiful surrounding countryside, we wanted to create a bright, colorful, modern, “urban chic” Berlin wedding at one of the most unique wedding locations in town.

It is always an incredible honor to be invited to document a wedding day, but to photograph a wedding of someone you have known your entire life is truly a gift. I feel so lucky to been asked to photograph Michael and Lindsey’s wedding. I have always thought of Michael and his sister Brie as family, as we have known each other since we were born. I usually say they are my cousins, because it has always felt like that way, and it was easier than explaining they were actually my mama’s best friend’s son and daughter. In fact, the day before the wedding, when I met Lindsey’s mom for the first time, she told me she had just discovered that we aren’t actually related. To me, family is not only the people who you are related to by blood, but the people who stand by you throughout the good times and the bad that come our way in a lifetime. I feel blessed to be able to call Michael and his beautiful new bride, Lindsey, my family. Their wedding was a day I will never forget, a beautiful celebration at the Wabeek Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. It was an amazing day filled with love and a whole lot of dancing. Lindsey compliments Michael so perfectly and it is a gift to see him so happy. It was also the first wedding Andreas and I shot side by side, he captured so many great moments from the day and it was so much fun to work together with the man I love. Thank you, Michael and Lindsey, for inviting us to celebrate with you and document your day, we love you both so much.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day in London when I photographed Saleema and David’s wedding portraits. We had the best time walking around the city together and spent most of the day laughing. Saleema is the chicest bride- just check out those Louboutins! And those poodles? They are definitely this crazy dog lady’s photographic dream! They were literally posing for the camera!
