I LOVE shooting at sunrise: the light is soft and golden, no one is around to photobomb, and the world is quiet. I typically cringe asking clients to wake up at sunrise for their session and it doesn’t always work with schedules, but is ALWAYS worth the lack of sleep. One benefit to the dreaded Berlin winter is the 8am sunrise means we can take advantage of the gorgeous morning light without the middle-of-the-night wake up call. Sarah & Yannik were the sweetest couple to work with and even though they both froze their tails off during the shoot (it was below freezing & -5C) they didn’t complain at all! I was shivering while wearing lots of layers and gloves, I can only imagine how cold they were! Can’t wait for their second engagement session in the spring, when none of us get frostbite :)
