Vivian & Rafael came all the way from Brazil to celebrate their wedding in Berlin, which happens is one of their favorite cities. Their wedding was held on a Tuesday, which was so unique and also amazing (I am a huge fan of weekday weddings!!). After the ceremony, they took a vintage bus on a little tour around the city on the way to the reception. It not only made for nice photos, it was a fun way way to travel around town and do a little sightseeing. They celebrated with 30 of their closest family and friends at Schlosshotel im Grunewald and were such a sweet couple to work with. Somehow the only time it rained the entire day was during our portrait session, but sweet Josephine from Beautiful Occasions helped hold umbrellas and it added a lot of extra laughs.Vivian is a total rockstar bride and ran the Berlin marathon a few days after her wedding, which I think is AMAZING. Most people take their honeymoon to catch up on sleep and relax right after their wedding, not run 26.2 miles! Congratulations again, dear Vivian & Rafael, and thank you so much for inviting me to document your wedding day!!

I am so excited to share the first of our many shoots from our time in Saint Tropez this summer, which was published on Style me Pretty today! Y’all probably know how much I love elopements, since I have gone on and on about my love for them before, but they really are the sweetest. I was super lucky to get to photograph several elopements this year and it is such an honor to be the only guest at a wedding and to be able to document true love. This inspiration shoot was inspired by Kiera Knightley’s city hall wedding a few years ago in the South of France. She wore a dress that was already hanging in her closet (of course it was Chanel couture, but hey) and married as the perfect it-girl should. I remember seeing a photo of her and thinking how perfectly laid back and yet oh so chic she looked and I just love the idea of chic simplicity on the wedding day. When I spotted this cropped top and mini skirt from ambacherVIDIC, I knew it was the perfect look for our elopement, which we paired with blue platforms as Maria’s “something blue”.
The full feature is on Style Me Pretty and you can view the post here. Make sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for our highlight video from our time in the South of France made by the very talented, Onn Halpern, and for the rest of the credits from our amazing team!
