I am so excited to share the first of our many shoots from our time in Saint Tropez this summer, which was published on Style me Pretty today! Y’all probably know how much I love elopements, since I have gone on and on about my love for them before, but they really are the sweetest. I was super lucky to get to photograph several elopements this year and it is such an honor to be the only guest at a wedding and to be able to document true love. This inspiration shoot was inspired by Kiera Knightley’s city hall wedding a few years ago in the South of France. She wore a dress that was already hanging in her closet (of course it was Chanel couture, but hey) and married as the perfect it-girl should. I remember seeing a photo of her and thinking how perfectly laid back and yet oh so chic she looked and I just love the idea of chic simplicity on the wedding day. When I spotted this cropped top and mini skirt from ambacherVIDIC, I knew it was the perfect look for our elopement, which we paired with blue platforms as Maria’s “something blue”.

I was thrilled to be asked by Joyce Young to come to Scotland to photograph her couture collection lookbook. She recently moved her Glasgow flagship store into a new location and it was the perfect space for the shoot. Her designs are classically beautiful and oh so chic.VIEW FULL POST
It was such a delight to get to work with the lovely Doreen Winking and the super talented Vision on Fire team again this year in Munich. C & S tied the knot in the beautiful St. Georg Kirche in Munich and afterwards we all rode rickshaws to the reception at the Prinzregententheater which is such a fun mode of wedding transport (even if a little dangerous as a photographer hanging out the side of the rickshaw to get the perfect shot). Thank you to C & S for inviting us to document your beautiful wedding weekend, it was such a joy to photograph.

We are back in Ireland for the next few days and I couldn’t help but think about my last trip here back in October for The Styling Pilgrimage with Pearl and Godiva. It was such an inspiring few days filled with incredible beauty and I just fell in love with Ireland. I decided now was the perfect time to finally blog the rest of my images from the workshop. So excited to finally get the chance to explore more of this beautiful country as we drive along the west coast today.
