“We created a dreamy shoot inspired by the neutral desaturated tones of Provence at the first signs of spring, but it could also just as easily be the fleeting days of summer when the lavender fields are dried up and ready for winter (I know your editorial calendar is taking submissions from August on :) The change of seasons always brings such a breath of fresh air and inspiration and we were inspired by the way the color palettes of the world around us changes during that time as well.”

From stylist Kelsey of A Lovely Creative:

“INSPIRATION | Spring-time in the French countryside, utilizing primarily white, neutral and pastel tones incorporating subtle deeper colors including blue and green. With spring right around the corner, we were able to photograph natural elements blossoming like acacia, weeping willows and cherry blossom.

COLORS + TEXTURES | pastel + slate blues, silver metal, taupe, light dusty pink, cream, rusted white, wrought iron + pops of bright yellow + orange

FLORALS | Blooming acacia + Japanese sweet peas + ranunculus + roses + lamb’s ear + privet berry

ATTIRE | Relaxed + current, our groom wears a navy suit with a simple pocket square and boutonniere constructed with a hellebore. Classic + elegant, our bride wears Isolde by Anais Anette reflecting a classic French attire. The delicate lace is a perfect fit!”
